Opportunity intelligence

Opportunity intelligence, from discovery through response.

Find relevant opportunities. Evaluate whether they deserve your time. Keep the evidence, decisions, and response work connected. That is the purpose of the Koinaxis Opportunity Intelligence Engine, or OIE.

What is opportunity intelligence?

Opportunity intelligence turns a potential lead, solicitation, or funding notice into a decision your organization can act on. It connects what the opportunity requires with the evidence of your fit, the resources involved, and the reasons to pursue or decline.

A listing is a starting point. Qualification means checking requirements, understanding constraints, and deciding whether the expected value justifies the effort. A useful process carries that reasoning into the response, rather than losing it in email, spreadsheets, or separate AI conversations.

RFP qualification before proposal work

For a business responding to a request for proposals, a missed eligibility condition can make weeks of proposal work irrelevant. OIE focuses on connecting qualification evidence to the decision before the team commits to a response.

  1. Discover and review

Identify relevant opportunities and connect the original notice, solicitation, amendments, and supporting documents.

  2. Check requirements and fit

Review eligibility, scope, references, submission rules, deadlines, and delivery constraints. Separate confirmed evidence from questions that still need answers.

  3. Make the pursuit decision

Record the reasons to pursue, decline, or investigate further. Keep the decision owner, rationale, and approval connected to the evidence.

  4. Coordinate the response

Assign next actions, resolve evidence gaps, and carry requirements and deadlines into proposal preparation and review.

A practical go/no-go decision

Consider an RFP requiring three comparable references. Two are documented; the third still needs confirmation. A useful recommendation identifies that gap, assigns someone to resolve it, and keeps final approval with the person responsible for the pursuit.

This is an illustrative workflow. The distinction matters: an AI recommendation, a verified requirement, and an approved pursuit are different records with different responsibilities.

Opportunity management with evidence and accountability

The Koinaxis approach puts requirements, sources, relationships, decisions, and work in a governed enterprise context. People and approved AI agents work from that context, so the next conversation can begin with the current evidence and outstanding actions.

For business development and proposal teams, the questions are practical: What changed? What is missing? Who owns the next step? Why did we decide to pursue? Past pursuits should inform the next decision without turning an old assumption into a current fact.

Questions about OIE

Is OIE only for procurement and RFPs?

No. Opportunity intelligence can apply to procurement, grants, and other opportunity workflows. RFP qualification provides a concrete starting example because requirements, deadlines, evidence, and approvals are explicit.

Does OIE make the final pursuit decision?

People retain responsibility for consequential decisions. AI agents can review information, identify gaps, and prepare recommendations; the accountable person approves the action.

How is this different from asking an AI assistant to review an RFP?

A single review can answer a question. A governed workflow also preserves the source, verification state, decision rationale, owner, and follow-up work so approved participants can continue from the same context.

How can my organization explore OIE?

Request a demonstration or discuss a design partnership around one workflow. Koinaxis is developing OIE with a focus on real requirements and accountable opportunity decisions.
